The Writing Conference, Inc. has announced its next contest: Using the theme of Friendship, elementary school, middle school and high school students are challenged to create a poem, narrative, or essay incorporating their ideas and feelings about friendship.

New Contest
The Writing Conference, Inc. has announced the topic for their 2008-2009 contest. The theme is Friendship.
Students in elementary school, middle school and high school are eligible to participate. All entries must be original and unpublished.

The deadline for submissions is January 8, 2009.
Please be sure to view the Writing Contest Guidelines, the Topic, the Narration Scoring Guide, the Essay (Exposition) Scoring Guide, the Poetry Scoring Guide, and the Submission Guidelines/Form.
Winners will be notified in February 2009.
