The Charles Dickens 2012 Writing Contest for Young People
In celebration of the bicentenary year of the birth of Charles Dickens, young people will be invited to write a story in the spirit of Dickens.

The challenge will be open to writers aged 11 - 14. Stories about the plight of underprivileged young people in the world today should be no more than 500 words. A certificate will be awarded to each participant and book tokens will be awarded to outstanding entries.
